Introduction:

Sezona dolgih potovanj se počasi končuje in skrajni čas je, da preverimo dogajanje še v bližnji okolici. V petek bomo preverili velenjski KuniKon, takoj zatem v soboto pa bomo v še močnejši zasedbi obiskali grad Vurberk, da se končno spet malo razgledamo z obzidja nad Dravsko dolino. Tam se zdaj že sedemnajstič zapored zbirajo rokodelci, trgovci, krčmarji, zabavljači, srboriti bojevniki, skaldi, trubadurji in glasbeniki ter v taboru naredijo praznično vzdušje. In če se obeta praznovanje z verjetnostjo bitke, smo Maistri hitro za akcijo.

Volva je najprej napovedovala hladno in vlažno vreme, a smo na blotu Freyu darovali kozlička in dobili zagotovilo, da bo na pralni dan v soboto sijalo toplo sonce! Mi volvi zaupamo, dajte ji še vi!

The long-distance travel season is slowly coming to an end and it's high time we check out what's happening in the local area. On Friday we'll check out the Velenje KuniKon, and immediately afterwards on Saturday we'll visit Vurberk Castle to finally enjoy the view from the walls above the Drava Valley. Craftsmen, entertainers, hot-tempered warriors, skalds, troubadours and musicians are gathering there for the 17th time in a row, creating a festive atmosphere in the camp. And if the forecast is for a celebration with the possibility of a battle the Maistri are quick to participate.

The volva initially predicted cold and damp weather, but we donated a goat to Frey on the blot and got the assurance that warm sun will shine on Saturday's washing day! We have complete trust in the volva, so should you!

Zaključne misli:

Srednjeveški dan na gradu Vurberk: bilo je malenkost kratko, zato pa toliko bolj sladko! Freyu darovan kozliček na blotu nam je dal prelep dan, samo zjutraj je bilo par kapljic, ki pa nas seveda niso prestrašile. Medtem ko se je v daljavi Thor malo poigraval s svojim kladivom, smo mi uživali v soncu in razgledu na črne oblake nad Dravsko dolino. Grad še naprej dobro upravljajo, Huda Liza je še vedno huda, trume obiskovalcev so pa tudi trumele. Ko bi le vedno bilo tako lepo! Srednjeveški Vurberk , še se vrnemo!

Medieval day at Vurberk Castle: it was a little short, but that made it all the sweeter! The goat sacrificed to Frey gave us a beautiful day, there were only a few droplets in the morning, but of course they didn't scare us.
