Introduction:

While the majority of the Maisters are exploring the lands of their ancestors in the far north, of course, part of the clan has remained on home soil to defend the base in the event of a marauding attack. Or to carry out a quick action nearby and enrich our treasury, if the opportunity arises. And it seems that the opportunity has arisen. At the Erasmus Days near Postojna this weekend, they will be holding an archery and fencing tournament, followed by a real treasure hunt. Well, where the treasure is, the Maisters are not far away and we plan to take a closer look at it when the rest of us are busy with the archery tournament. Maybe instead of a treasure hunt, we will organize a treasure hunt ourselves, where (you guessed it!) we will run away with the treasure, and the rest will chase us. And as lovers of good stories, we are also looking forward to the saga of Erasmus. We hear that the local skalds have prepared a particularly beautiful saga about this old hero. Medtem, ko glavnina Maistrov raziskuje dežele svojih prednikov na daljnem severu, je seveda del klana ostal na domačih tleh, da lahko brani bazo v primeru roparskega napada. Ali pa opravi kako hitro akcijo v bližini in oplemeniti našo zakladnico, če se slučajno ponudi priložnost. In kot kaže, se je priložnost pojavila. Na Erazmovih dneh pri Postojni bodo ta konec tedna imeli lokostrelski in mečevalski turnir, potem pa pravi lov na zaklad. No, kjer je zaklad, Maistri niso daleč proč in si ga nameravamo pobliže ogledati, ko se bodo ostali ukvarjali z lokostrelskim turnirjem. Morda bomo pa namesto lova na zaklad sami organizirali lov za zakladom, kjer bomo (uganili ste!) mi bežali z zakladom, ostali pa nas bodo lovili.
Se pa kot ljubitelji dobrih zgodb tudi veselimo sage o Erazmu. Kot slišimo, so tamkajšnji skaldi pripravili posebno lepo sago o tem starem junaku. Komaj čakamo, da jo slišimo! Pa tudi vi pridite in se oglasite v Predjami, kot rečeno: lokostrelstvo, mečevanje, dobre zgodbe in dobra jedača!

It wasn't long ago that we showed the people of Ljubljana how to actually train their dragon. The word about our winged beast tamers spread beyond the borders of our homeland and soon we were asked to show our skills at the Drachenfest. Apparently there are many more dragons there and they are even bigger. Fortunately, our fleet is already in Sletten in the north, so we can send one ship to the dragons. That will certainly be enough, because any dragon can be easily tamed, if you just know where to find it... oops, we can't reveal all the secrets yet.

Ni dolgo tega, ko smo prebivalstvu Ljubljane pokazali, kako dejansko izuriti svojega zmaja. Glas o naših krotilcih krilatih zveri je poneslo čez meje naše domovine in kmalu je prišla prošnja, da svoje znanje pokažemo še na Drachenfestu. Menda je tam zmajev veliko več pa še večji so. Na srečo je naše ladjevje že v Slettenu na severu, tako da lahko nad zmaje pošljemo eno ladjo. To bo zagotovo dovolj, saj se da vsakega zmaja enostavno ukrotiti, če le veš, kje ga po... ups, vseh skrivnosti pa še ne smemo izdati.

The days are long and the nights are warm and the restlessness has settled in our bones again. Maistri, we have to go! We liked our visit to the Danish lands last year so much that we simply have to visit them again! So we decided to start by visiting Sletten in distant Denmark again, because the legendary battles there have gone down in history and we have no doubt that this year will be any different. Le-gen-dary. As you know, last year the rebellious Rafni (according to us, the Ravens) tried to take control of central Denmark and we were called in to help quell the uprising. After THREE DAYS OF FIGHTING(!) the Rafni had to admit defeat and retreat. From what we hear, they are returning this year. Whether it is just for the mead of peace, for negotiations or a new attempt to take Slettn, we do not know. We are ready for anything - our mead is even sweeter this year and our swords are even sharper. Both ships are ready to be filled with northern silver. The Maistri are going into action! Dnevi so dolgi in noči so tople in v naših kosteh se je spet naselil nemir. Maistri moramo na pot! Lanski obisk danskih dežel nam je bil tako všeč, da jih enostavno moramo spet obiskati! Tako smo se odločili za začetek spet obiskati Sletten v daljni Danski, saj so tamkajšnjne legendarne bitke šle v zgodovino in sploh ne dvomimo, da bo letos kaj drugače. Le-gen-darno. Kot veste, so lani uporniški Rafni (po naše Krokarji) poskušali prevzeti nadzor nad centralno Dansko in smo bili vpoklicani na pomoč pri umirjanju vstaje. Po TREH DNEH BOJEV(!) so Rafni morali priznati poraz in se umakniti. Kot slišimo, se letos vračajo. Ali samo na medico miru, na pogajanja ali nov poskus zavzetja Slettna, tega ne vemo. Pripravljeni smo na vse - naša medica je letos še slajša in naši meči so še ostrejši. Obe ladji sta pripravljeni, da ju napolnimo s severnim srebrom. Maistri grejo v akcijo! AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

Uvod:

Snežni oblaki se že zbirajo, Skaði pripravlja svoje smuči, mi pa pred zimo zaključujemo s plenilskimi pohodi v daljne kraje. A preden se udobno namestimo pred domačim ognjiščem, je treba postoriti še nekaj stvari.

Od 30. 11. do 1. 12. bomo zato v Vetrinjskem dvoru postavili tabor za zadnje prezračevanje. Popravljali bomo usnjene čevlje, krpali obleke in izdelovali pasove. Mnogo stvari je treba skovati pred mrazom in sešiti lutke za otroke. A otroci se ne bodo zgolj igrali na premnogih igrah; naši vedeži jih bodo izučili o našem delu in dogodivščinah, naši izkušeni bojevniki pa jih bodo izurili v bodoče osvajalce. Seveda bodo kot vedno na ognju brbotali ogromni kotli, iz katerih bo omamno dišalo, zabava pa bo živela ob poskočnih melodijah, žongliranju in vrtečem ognju.

Seveda pa bo velik prostor namenjen tudi trgovanju, kjer si boste v zameno za zlatnike lahko pridobili mnogo čudovitih stvari, ki smo jih čez leto izdelali ali odrešili iz zakladnic slabo branjenih samostanov.

Tako da se oglasite kaj v našem domačem Marrbergu (Maribor), zagotovo vam ne bo vam žal!

Introduction:
The snow clouds are already gathering, Skaði is preparing her skis, and we are ending our raiding to distant lands before winter. But before we settle comfortably in front of our fireplace, there are still a few things to do.

From 30 November to 1 December, we will set up our camp for the last airing in Vetrinjske dvor. We will repair leather shoes, mend dresses and make belts. Many things need to be forged before the cold and dolls for children need to be sewn. But kids won't just play on many games that we have; we will teach them about our work and adventures, and our experienced warriors will train them to be future conquerors. Of course, as always, there will be huge cauldrons bubbling on the fire with an intoxicating smells, and the party will live with bouncy tunes, juggling and spinning fire.

Of course, a large area will also be dedicated to trading, where you'll be able to get many wonderful things in exchange for gold coins, things which we made during the year or rescued from the treasuries of poorly defended monasteries.

So, drop by in our hometown of Marrberg (Maribor), you won't regret it!

Introduction:

This season is phenomenal! All the northern outposts are bursting at the seams and just crying out for looting! So the Maisters returned home, only to unload the acquired (and liberated) goods, load up on new trade items and new barrels of mead, and head back north. We have just visited Denmark, Germany and Poland, but now we are going to the tried-and-true Norway, which we have already gotten to know and conquered well in previous seasons. This time only one ship is going to norvegian Borre (the rest of the team still has to count and weigh the looted silver and jewelry), but don't worry - we firmly believe that they will be just as successful as in the previous years. Besides, it's quite possible that we will take their most beautiful ship from the Norwegians and take it for ourselves. This year's looting and conquering season is indeed very successful. Letošnja sezona je fenomenalna! Vse severne postojanke pokajo po šivih in kar kličejo po zavzetju! Zato smo se Maistri vrnili domov, samo da razložimo nabavljeno (in osvobojeno) blago, naložimo nove artikle za trgovanje in nove sode medice in se podamo nazaj na sever. Dansko, Nemčijo in Poljsko smo ravnokar obiskali, zdaj pa gremo v preverjeno Norveško, ki smo jo v preteklih sezonah že dodobra spoznali in osvojili. Tokrat gre v norveški Borre zgolj ena ladja (preostanek ekipe mora še prešteti in stehtati naropano srebro in nakit), vendar brez skrbi – trdno verjamemo, da bodo enako uspešni kot minula leta. Poleg tega se čisto lahko pripeti, da bomo od Norvežanov prevzeli njihovo najlepšo ladjo in jo vzeli zase. Letošnja sezona ropanja in osvajanja je res zelo uspešna. Spremljajte še naprej!

Many of our warriors found great success pillaging the North, so we decided to make a second raid, a bit towards the East. We shall cross the forests of the Germanic tribes and push towards the land of Poland. Apparently, there will be a huge gathering of Vikings and Slavs there, in Wolin. To ensure our success in the second part, we shall call for reinforcements just in case.

Veliko naših bojevnikov je pri ropanju na severu doseglo velik uspeh, zato smo se odločili za drugi napad, nekoliko proti vzhodu. Prečkali bomo gozdove germanskih plemen in prodrli proti deželi Poljski. Menda bo tam, v Wolinu, ogromno zborovanje tako severnjakov kot Slovanov. Da bi zagotovili uspeh v tudi drugem delu, bomo za vsak slučaj poklicali okrepitve.

Last year we made a really good impression, and this year we wish to give back a bit of their hospitality! It is a very nice community of norsemen.

The North calls to us … and we will answer! The time has come again for our main raid of the season. For the last two years we raided all the way to Norway to Midgardsblot, and we conquered it fully. We shall send a smaller party there in a few weeks to affirm our rule, but first we must subjugate the land that lies in between. That land is called Denmark. Therefore, we are sending two longships full of warriors to Sletten. A whole kingdom shall be gathered there, and great battles are expected. If they don’t accept our presence from our victories in battle, they surely will fall to the vast amounts of mead we’re bringing along. Either way the Land of the Danes shall be ours. As for all of you, stay tuned! We shall keep you well updated about our victories.

Sever nas kliče … in mi se bomo odzvali! Spet je prišel čas za naš glavni plenilski pohod sezone. Zadnji dve leti smo napadli vse do Norveške do Midgardsblota in ga v celoti osvojili. Čez nekaj tednov bomo tja poslali manjšo skupino, da potrdi našo vladavino, a najprej si moramo podrediti deželo, ki leži vmes. Ta dežela se imenuje Danska. Zato pošiljamo dve dolgi ladji, polni bojevnikov, v Sletten. Tam bo zbrano celo kraljestvo in za pričakovati je velike bitke. Če ne bodo sprejeli naše prisotnosti zaradi naših zmag v bitkah, bodo zagotovo padli ob ogromnih količinah medice, ki jo prinašamo s seboj. V vsakem primeru bo dežela Dancev naša. Kar zadeva vas, nas redno spremljajte! O naših zmagah vas bomo sproti obveščali.

Like everyone, we have some annual constants. One of these is a visit to our very good friends (also for the sake of blood brotherhood) in Varaždin - the Knights of St. Nicholas and their medieval archery tournament ANĐEOSKA STRIJELA!

We are already looking forward to a beautiful place - a meadow in the middle of the forest by the river Drava in Varaždin. Why are we so looking forward to this visit? We already saw some of them at the Ljubljana castle 2 weeks ago... Yes, it's true, BUT we were all busy there and there was no time to socialize! This time will be different.

Therefore, everyone is invited to the tournament (in archery and bohurt too!) among good people and in the embrace of joy this Saturday!
