Andhrímnir is the chef of the Æsir and einherjar in Valhalla. He slaughters the beast Sæhrímnir every day and cooks it in his cauldron Eldhrímnir. At night, Sæhrímnir is restored to life to be eaten again the next day. Andhrímnir also makes the mead from the milk of the goat Heiðrún.
